Who is Jennifer David?

Jennifer David

Jennifer David is a mother, grandmother, wife, and CEO of a disability service agency, and is also a person with a disability. Jennifer is the Secretary for the Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council (INSILC), is an active member of several local and regional business organizations and nonprofits, and also serves as a board member at her church.

Key priorities include access to medical and mental health services for both rural and urban residents, ensuring funding for support services for individuals and families with disabilities. Other issues include addressing the direct care workforce crisis, providing behavioral supports to children with disabilities while waiting for a medicaid waiver slot, and creating a more sensory friendly environments in schools, public, and private spaces. With over 25 years of experience in public service and a passion for community engagement, Jennifer is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Hoosiers.

Jennifer's Education

Bachelor's degree in social work from Winona State University (graduated Magna Cum Laude).

Master's degree in special education, with an emphasis on Emotional Disabilities, and post-graduate work in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
